Witches Express                            

 

Due to the Summer Fire  Restrictions it is not possible to operate Steam locomotives from the start of November to the end of April and so Witches Express trains were operated replacing the Wizards Express during the 2002 -2003 Summer Period using the only operating XA class Diesel Electric locomotive - XA 1401 "Pedong" running on the Wizards Express Timetable from Fremantle to Pinjarra and return
