Steam Rangers

This page last altered 8/5/2008

Thrill to the sight and sounds of

Steam locomotives as they climb Western Australia's steepest and most spectacular section of railway, through the Darling Range Escarpment to the town of Dwellingup

Travel along the last remaining, lightly built developmental railway, which once served the timber industry and the agricultural areas beyond Dwellingup.

Upon arrival in Dwellingup you can relax and enjoy the picnic facilities, local eating houses or just explore the town.

Steam Ranger Tours operate from May to October each year

Due to extensive bush fire damage to the railway between Pinjarra and Dwellingup in late January 2007 these services are suspended until late 2008

Please note that Dwellingup based services are not affected and continue to operate as normal
